Wonderwerk, also known as House of Fermentation, is the creation of Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lardy, two high school friends from Virginia who embarked on a journey of innovative fermentation. Based in Los Angeles and Gilroy, they craft what they describe as supernatural wines, sourcing grapes from various locations across California. Issamu and Andrew are hands-on in their approach, personally involved in every step of the winemaking process, including bottling with their own hands.

Their philosophy balances low-intervention techniques with high-innovation ideas, often resulting in collaborative and unconventional wines.
